Luke took part in Great South Run 2025 in memory of his girlfriend’s mum, Amanda Lipsham, who sadly lost her life to secondary breast cancer in 2024.
“Mandy wasn’t just a loving mum, she was a dedicated member of staff at Portsmouth Hospitals,” said Luke.
It meant so much to Luke to run in Mandy’s memory, not only to honour the incredible person she was, but also to raise funds for the hospital where she worked.
Luke raised £1,485 and the money will go towards vital equipment that helps the early detection of breast cancer.
