This is more than just a game — it’s a celebration of NHS staff coming together, supporting each other, and raising money for two charities that do incredible work in our community.
The teams involved, South Central Ambulance Service Hampshire and Portsmouth Hospital 11, were both created as a way for NHS colleagues to socialise outside of work. What started as casual kickabouts quickly became something bigger: a space where staff could look after their physical wellbeing, decompress after tough shifts, and support each other’s mental health. This match is the perfect way to bring them together for a shared purpose.
On Sunday 13 September 2026, the two teams will be taking to the pitch at Havant & Waterlooville Stadium, Westleigh Park, Martin Road, Havant PO9 5TH, with kick‑off at 17:30.
Entry is free, with any donations welcomed — every penny raised will be shared 50/50 between Portsmouth Hospitals Charity and the SCAS Charity.
This match is about pride, teamwork, and community spirit. It’s about NHS staff stepping onto the pitch not just as colleagues, but as friends — united for a cause that matters.
