On top of the world

Huge congratulations to Jonathan Precey, who has taken on the biggest challenge of his life by climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa - over 5,000 metres above sea level. 

“This was by far the toughest thing I’ve ever done. There were times when I really had to dig deep to keep going, but I made it. I’m absolutely delighted to have raised more than £1,000 for the charity - double my original target.”

The challenge was personal for Jonathan, the Trust's Financial Analytics Manager. His triplet girls are now four years old and his family will never forget the exceptional care and kindness they received during a tough time in the pandemic.

"From their fragile beginnings at QA - where our smallest miracle weighed just 3lb 12oz - our daughters have grown into vibrant, thriving four-year olds. We are eternally grateful to the staff at QA whose clinical expertise and extraordinary compassion turned a time of great anxiety into the greatest love of our lives."
