A unique festive evening of music, carols and readings is taking place at Portsmouth Cathedral on 1 December 2026.
The event is in support of Portsmouth Hospitals Charity and will feature local choirs, musicians, including a choralist who has performed for the Queen as well as festive readings by special guests Harry Redknapp, Clive Mantle and Fred Dinenage.
“We are delighted to be organising the inaugural Christmas Concert for Portsmouth Hospitals Charity and can promise an uplifting evening of festive cheer featuring all your favourite carols,” says Kate Sandys, Head of Charity. “It’s the perfect way to start the Christmas season and all proceeds will contribute to funding state-of-the-art equipment, improved facilities, and projects that enhance patient care while supporting our hardworking staff."
Tickets for the event are expected to sell fast - especially the limited VIP tickets, which include a celebrity meet and greet, priority seating, drinks and canapes. General admission tickets are also available.
